Today I met a lovely young lady who has contacted me about helping her to learn tatting. We had a delightful time going over the basics of tatting, hiding threads, sewing in ends, etc. She's off to a really good start with getting the flip down and already has nice double stitches with good tension. I am so happy she asked me to tutor her and so happy to have helped pass the art of tatting thread to another person. I look forward to the next time we meet up once she's gotten in some practice.
In addition to tatting I'm also working on some beading. This time I tried a Right Angle weave to create a pretty bracelet made with Pink and White Pearl Beads and accented with Black Seed Beads. I'm enjoying beadwork and plans to make some more beaded jewelry in the near future.
